The Homes in Need - Flood Recovery Program provides labor and material to make basic home repairs necessary for flood victims who are homeowners to return safely to their homes. They help with flood repairs that are not covered by FEMA or flood insurance. STEP housing initiative staff and participants in STEP's YouthBuild Program provide the necessary repairs, which may include work on heating, plumbing and electrical systems or other types of basic repairs.
The Housing and Builiding Initiatives Program is part of STEP, Inc.'s Housing Options Pathway.

Eligibility: Lycoming County homeowners who are flood victims due to Tropical Storm Lee in September 2012. Homes in Need will assist with flood repairs that are not covered by FEMA or flood insurance.
