Eligibility:
MATP is a service available to Medical Assistance consumers in
Lycoming/Clinton counties.

To use STEP Transportation for MATP purposes, you must register
with STEP Transportation.

Helpful Tips:
If you need a ride to a medical appointment or service, call as
soon as possible. For regular appointments and Geisinger
appointments, you must call before 12:00 pm (noon) at least 1
business day in advance. All out-of-county and Lewisburg
appointments must be scheduled 3 full STEP business days in
advance. For Urgent Care needs, if the consumer has been informed
by the medical provider that they must be seen by a medical
provider within 24 hours, the doctor must call to verify the
medical situation.
