Bethlehem - Northampton County Early Intervention
Designed to meet the developmental needs of children from birth to 3 years old with a developmental delay or disability as well as the needs of the family related to enhancing the child's development. Provided at no cost to families and is designed as a family centered approach. Supports and services to families and their children are individually based upon strengths, concerns, and priorities of families and their child's needs. Services should be conducted in the child's natural environment. Also assist families to access many community services and supports in their local area.

Eligibility: Children birth to 3 that have developmental delays, or a diagnoses that impacts their development; To qualify for services at least one of the following criteria needs to be met: A team that determines through a standardize test a score of 1.5 standard deviation or a 25% developmental delay in one or more developmental area (motor, language, cognitive, social/emotion and adaptive/self-care), a physical or mental condition/diagnosis that has a high probability for a developmental delay or, Informed Clinical opinion through the evaluation process that determination that a child requires supports and services even though they might not have a developmental delay.
