Philadelphia - Workshop Program
The Workshop Program provides in-depth, participatory arts programs that address specific social needs. Recent examples include a residency with InterAct Theatre and the Mural Arts Program, in which inter-generational community members from the Norris Square neighborhood of North Philadelphia used stories from their heritage to create an outdoor mural and a theatre performance, and a workshop at William Penn High School where artists from the Fabric Workshop worked with students to create original T-shirt designs promoting anti-violence.
