PATH
Philadelphia - Family Based Programs
You and your family will meet with a professionally credentialed clinician and a mental health worker, your team, in your home to listen to your concerns. Your team will meet individually with your child and also meet with you together as a family each week. Your team will help you and your family identify areas that you would like to change and help you develop a plan to make these changes. You and your family will be supported by the team as you take actions to bring about these changes. Your family will also receive assistance in obtaining additional resources and support to meet medical, social, academic, and financial needs. The team will arrange for you to see a PATH child psychiatrist, if indicated. You will meet with the psychiatrist who will complete an evaluation and may prescribe medication for you. You may continue to see both the psychiatrist for medication appointments and see the clinician for therapy.
