Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation
Wynnewood - Survivors Teach Students
Ovarian cancer survivors are educating 3rd year medical students in the Philadelphia area about ovarian cancer. The project is designed to have ovarian cancer survivors tell their own stories in their own words and provide information about the very real and often overlooked symptoms of ovarian cancer to medical students (gynecological oncologists) so they are better prepared to detect the disease in an early stage.
