A community-wide initiative that brings together schools, businesses, organizations and individuals to improve early grade reading success.
Volunteer opportunities include tutoring a 2nd grade student with reading and assisting with a book exchange program on Wednesday mornings.

Helpful Tips: - Volunteers select a school that is convenient with their location and schedule (providing they have openings)
- PA Criminal History and PA Child Abuse clearance are required free for volunteers. FBI clearance is required if volunteer has not been a PA resident for the past 10 years. Cost is $27.
- Attend 1 two hour training session
