Community center offering educational, recreational and cultural programs for adults, families and youth.
Programs/activities include:
- Youth computer lab
- Summer science camp ages 5 to 12 years
- Cultural festivals
- After school programs, including Neighborhood Bridges
- Facility rentals for large events
- A library offering a wide variety of books, videos, and cassettes which chronicle African American history
- Home base African American Veterans Program and African American Historical Society
- Annual community-wide Martin Luther King Breakfast
- Youth Intervention Program: Focus on children of incarcerated parents
- Strengthening Families Program: For middle school youth and their parents
- Community Meals Site: Saturday and Sunday
- Holiday celebrations and gift-giveaways for neighborhood families
