Works toward the prevention and elimination of domestic violence, increases public awareness of domestic violence through education in order to change behavior and attitudes, and provides leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of domestic violence policy.

The committees are clergy, education/media, human service providers, law enforcement/judicial, legislative, and health care providers. The task force meets monthly to report on committee activities, share information about upcoming prevention events, and discuss strategies to advance its goals.
