Provides free heating products to qualifying residents. The Fuel Bank is not intended to cover all the heating costs of a household nor pay for past due or unpaid heating bills. It exists to help avoid a heating emergency and provides the following:
  • Fuel oil
  • Wood
  • Coal
  • Propane (for heating purposes only)

    Intake Procedure: Apply for LIHEAP through the Centre County Assistance Office. LIHEAP eligible customers will be evaluated for Fuel Bank assistance, but LIHEAP eligibility does not guarantee Fuel Bank eligibility.
