Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)- ABA
Provides Intensive Behavioral Health Services. Clients must have a written order within 12 months prior to initiation of IBHS services as written by a qualified healthcare provider (e.g., physician, nurse practitioner, psychologist, or other QHP whose scope includes the diagnosis and treatment of behavioral health disorders), written orders must be conducted face-to-face and include the following: supports medical necessity for treatment, maximum hours of services per month for BHT/BC-ABA, settings where services may be provided, and measurable improvement in the domain of therapeutic needs.

Eligibility: Children adults age 2 years to 20 years old; must carry a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, or related neurological conditions as formally diagnosed by a licensed practitioner such as a physician, psychiatrist/psychologist, or developmental neurologist; must be a resident of Carbon, Pike, or Monroe County.

Intake Procedure: Prospective clients may contact Apex Behavior Management by telephone or email to schedule an appointment for intake.
Intake Requirements: Photo identification of parent, medical insurance card, name of child, date of birth, diagnostic records, prescription by a primary physician describing services referred, a written order within 1 year projected service start.
