Brookville - Victims Compensation Assistance Program
Ensures victims and witnesses of crimes receive all the services afforded under the Bill of Rights. Services include help with filing, detailing important information throughout the process, and referrals. Compensation assistance may also cover any non-reimbursable medical costs, loss of wages, loss of ability to earn wages, funeral expenses, relocation expenses, and crime scene clean-up cost.

Eligibility:
  • Crime occured in Pennsylvania
  • Crime was reported within 72 hours
  • Costs must be more than $50 (no minimum for victims age 60 and older)
  • Claims must be filed within five years (except in cases where the victim is a child)
