The LIFE (Living in Family Environment) program serves elementary age students. The LIFE program is a school-based prevention program that provides goal-oriented services to students and their families. Program Caseworkers are based directly in the elementary schools. Work with students, parents and classroom teachers to develop support plans to address behavioral, emotional, social, and/or academic concerns.
Examples of support plan goals include (but are not limited to):
Coping with anxiety, grief & loss, social skills, study skills, parent separation/divorce, organization, self-esteem and problem-solving. To provide an open, honest, and collaborative network of communication between the school and the family. LIFE Caseworkers also provide classroom-based lessons within the schools they serve.
