The Refuge
Provides an emergency shelter for families with children that assists families in their progress toward self-sufficiency in personal housing, helps provide basic necessities such as clothing, food, personal supplies, helps to secure necessary paperwork such as Social Security card, Photo ID, and birth certificates. Provides a case manager who works with family to identify needs and establish goals, provides assessment and links families to community resources such as: job search; employment; assistance to stabilize income/benefits; education - adult & children.
