Provides a car repair grant up to $500.00 for necessary car repairs to those who need the car to get to work. Grant is provided directly to the servicing garage. One applicant per household, per year.

Intake Procedure: Call for information on application or visit website for online Vehicle Assistance Program application.
Intake Requirements: Proof of Lackawanna County residency, proof of household income (two recent pay stubs), Verification of minimum 21 hour/per week or letter from a future employer documenting the expected hourly wage, estimate from certified mechanic and photo ID.
