Care After School Program
Targets high-risk youth. Presents activities that emphasize reading and following instructions through cooking, arts & crafts, and theater. Provides tutors (volunteers from Messiah College) daily to assist with homework. Organizes special activities surrounding the holidays. Operates a Kids Cafe that provides an evening meal for each student. Offers Peer Helpers: Teen-aged students perform responsible leadership helper roles between staff and their younger peers.

Eligibility: Children in Grades 2 and up
Hours: Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 6:00pm; Please Note: Program follows Harrisburg School District Calendar. It begins with and ends with the school calendar, including following the holiday, day off, and early dismissal schedule.
