Helps with rent payment for those at risk of losing housing. Assistance is not available security deposits. Service is contingent upon the availability of funding.

Eligibility: Must meet income guidelines. Those in service area who are in jeopardy of being evicted from their home. Eviction notice must be a court order eviction. Serves all of Wayne County and only zip code 18428 Hawley in Pike County.

Intake Procedure: Call for an appointment. Individuals can only receive rental assistance once a year.
Intake Requirements: In order to receive assistance with rent must provide a valid photo identification, proof of one months income, and a copy of lease. Monthly income must show that expenses can be paid before rental assistance will be offered. Must bring in proof of any assistance such as SNAP benefits.

Helpful Tips: Does not help with housing. Individuals can not be homeless in order to receive assistance.
