NOMO South - NOMO South - Vocational Training
Offers programs of classes in culinary arts, fashion design/branding, cosmetology, makeup and skincare, financial literacy, resume writing, music, and introduction to barbering. Provides job readiness coaching, peer mentoring, and group therapy sessions. Also provides case management and support services including emergency temporary housing; assistance with utility, rent, and phone bill payments; transportation; nutrition services; work attire; hygiene support; medical support; and more.

  • Completed application
  • Social Security card
  • Birth certificate
  • School record
  • TANF support document (proof of EBT, PEBT, government medical insurance, etc.)

Helpful Tips: Participants enrolled in the program are required to be present at NOMO South Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
Through completion of courses, participants can earn up to $200 per month.
