Provides funding for practical, short-term relief to our neighbors who need a one-time assistance to pay rent, a utility bill, prescriptions, car repair, or other immediate needs. The ministry focuses on temporary problems and giving our neighbors a helping hand during a difficult time.

Also has a trained personal financial coach available who can offer assistance with budgeting.

Intake Procedure: Call and ask to be connected to the HELPS voicemail -- extension 246, to leave your contact information. HELPS volunteer counselors respond to the request within 24 hours.
Intake Requirements: Documentation of bill (PECO, water, car repair receipts) needed before assistance can be given.
Geographical Area: Serves Chester County
Helpful Tips: Unable to provide assistance to persons experiencing homelessness or with hotel bills.
