We offer bilingual parenting and pregnancy support groups, which are held at various times throughout the week. The classes are designed to offer support for first time parents as well as parents with children of various ages. Evidence-based curriculum is taught to help individuals strengthen their parenting skills by discussing topics such as baby's first month, nutrition, safe sleep, building relationships, sibling rivalry, and so on.The support groups offer a place where individuals can meet other parents, develop friendships and leadership skills, obtain resources, receive diapers and other baby supplies, and develop skills to become a stronger, more resilient family unit. Events and workshops are held throughout the year including an annual baby shower, which is open to the community, to support individuals who are pregnant or have children under one year old. English-speaking pregnancy support classes are held Tuesdays at 11:00 am and Friday at 10:00 am; and parenting support classes are Thursdays at 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm. Spanish-speaking pregnancy & parenting support classes are held Mondays at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, and Thursdays at 10:00 am.

The Day Room continues to provide hospitality to the needy, especially the elderly, migrants, women and children, in a caring and welcoming environment. Our goals are to strengthen families and assist individuals toward personal growth and greater independence, establish ongoing, therapeutic relationships that strengthen the community, and nurture in our clients a sense of appreciation and a desire to help others.     Stitches of Love is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit Corporation serving as a community outreach of volunteers that provide for infants, children and families where babies are born into difficult circumstances, born prematurely, or fetal demise. Our support is given through community hospitals, pregnancy centers and children’s homes by providing hand-made items. Stitches of Love was conceived and grew through Providence Presbyterian Church (PCA), Quakertown, Pennsylvania, in the spring of 2003, with three individuals. It has grown through various churches in many different states throughout the U.S. Our organization now has several hundred members. We strive to meet the needs where other means are not accessible by providing: - Afghans, quilts and blankets for newborns - Matching caps - Toddler or sibling blankets - Burial clothing for preemies too weak to sustain life or stillborn babies - Fetal bereavement clothing - Layettes - Isolette Covers - Sweaters - Dolls - Chemo caps - Other custom items upon request
