Presents 4,000 different classes, concerts and programs, more than 40 percent of which are free to attend. Among these are Musikfest, a 10-day summer music festival each August; Christkindlmarkt, a December holiday market; and 10 other festivals. Reaches more than 5,000 students and works with 100-plus community artists annually through its arts education programming at the Banana Factory arts center in Bethlehem. Main Line Art Center’s annual exhibitions include major shows in the main gallery, community exhibits in the welcome galleries, and seasonal fine crafts shows. These exhibitions feature the work of established and emerging artists, many of whom are members, faculty, and students. Guest artists and special workshops provide opportunities for professional advancement for local artists. Exhibition workshops, lectures, and panel discussions allow individuals in the community to become more involved in the process of making and understanding art. All shows at the Art Center are free and open to the public. The Art Center also brings art into the community through its public art projects, which reach a broad audience of non-traditional arts patrons.

Main Line Art Center provides an extensive variety of high-quality visual arts instruction and programs for emerging and experienced artists of all ages and abilities. Classes and workshops are available in areas such as painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewelry making, and printmaking. Classes are limited in size, allowing individualized attention, and are offered year-round during the day, evenings, and on weekends. The Art Center also schedules open monitored studios in subjects such as life drawing, printmaking, photography, and ceramics. Students taking advanced classes and working in open studios are often skilled artists who appreciate the collegial atmosphere and technical resources the Art Center provides. Teen Classes From teens fine-tuning their skills and preparing for art school, to those looking to pick up a new hobby, the Art Center is a great place for young artists to learn and meet new people. In addition to our classes designed for teens, many of our adult classes welcome young adults ages 16 and up. Children's Classes Nurture your budding artist! Let your child's imagination soar as he or she develops new skills, meets friends and builds self-confidence, all while working with age-appropriate tools. Classes are available for children ages 2-12. Family Workshops Carve out some creative family time by attending one of our family workshops. Make memories and art together and leave the clean-up to us! Art Camps This summer, we’re putting ART in the spotlight, and highlighting the many ways that the visual arts enhance every form of creative expression. Explore drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, ceramics, metalwork and jewelry through projects inspired by theatre, music, dance and more. Camp runs June 13-August 26 in 11 one-week sessions in full and half days for children ages 4-13. Call today to register!
