Park Rangers are responsible for various visitor services, law enforcement duties and park security. They provide the public with highly visible staff to assist in the following areas:
General park information
Medical emergencies
Special event security

Provides information on the procedure and process to people facing legal problems, as well as information on how to get an attorney. Offers forms and instruction packets for custody, divorce, name change, etc., and also has research materials for other types of cases.

Offers a variety of accessible media types for reading disabled Pennsylvania residents, including print, audio and digital.

Provides support,referrals,and coordination of services for people transitioning from one treatment provider or level of care to another.

Our Woodland Academy Child Development Center provides day care and youth services for children and families in Philadelphia, specifically in the Southwest section of our city. Serving children between the ages of six weeks and 14 years, our goal is to offer services that are both enriching and stimulating in a safe environment, and provide a safe passage for children to develop into adulthood.

Our after-school "Youth Services Program," located in a newly renovated wing of the center, houses a computer lab, art room, library and a large multi-purpose room. Music, art, and ceramics are some of the enrichment activities children can participate in as part of the after-school program.

Woodland Academy is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
