Screens clients to determine treatment/non-treatment needs. Provide supportive counseling and assistance with referrals. Provide re-entry services for the substance abusing/dependent client who is transitioning from incarceration or fulfilling criminal justice mandates. Monitor drug/alcohol use by performing breathalyzer tests and urine drug screens and report the results to the assigned probation officer or designee of the Court. Provide case management services to clients who have been in the criminal justice system. Case management provides linkage to treatment facilities if identified; recovery support services including; tangible needs (food, clothing); community resources (self-help groups); various housing needs; education; employment and training; and medical care.

Offers job training and placement, workshops, job fairs, training and certifications, resume assistance, and other employment services.

Offers work release and alternative housing for both male and female offenders in the criminal justice system; provides cognitive behavioral-based program that emphasizes accountability and responsibility of the individual.

Offers comprehensive reentry services for returning citizens. The program helps clients to identify their needs and goals, find housing, build support networks, strengthen skillsets, build resumes, access training and education, find steady employment, and build healthy family relationships

Offers twelve-week paid training program designed to support adults who have been out of the workforce or who experience barriers to employment to find and maintain stable, higher than entry-level positions in the food service industry.

Provides wraparound services for students, including case management, life skills classes, and referrals for supplemental services such as transportation and uniforms.

Offers a free one year program that empowers young adults by ensuring that they gain the skills, experiences, and support necessary to reach their full potential and thrive in professional careers and higher education. Students spend six months learning in-demand technical and professional skills before applying their skills during a six-month corporate internship. Throughout the program, students complete coursework that may be eligible for college credits and receive access to a robust offering of services and supports to promote their success.

Offers a 4-week program to fully reintegrate individuals with criminal records into the economic and social mainstream through job training and employment opportunities, intensive case management, and peer-to-peer supportive services. Provides social-emotional coaching; cognitive behavioral therapy; financial supports for critical job readiness assets like credentialing; work uniforms; or down payments for affordable apartments; and job opportunities with partner employers.

Prepares incarcerated individuals for success through offering a series of workshops on topics including social media, applying for medical benefits, securing housing, and obtaining education and employment. Provides one-on-one mentorship for at least six months to develop a personalized goal plan. Also works with soon to be released juvenile lifers to help them transition into the community.

A one-stop job center that provides an array of employment and training services in a convenient, easily accessible location.

Services include job counseling, testing and assessment; resume preparation assistance, interview training and other prejob guidance services; job matching and referral; unemployment insurance and job registration; labor market and career information; information on financial aid for education and training; and referral for job training, transportation, child care, personal and financial counseling, health care and other human services resources in the community.

Offers paid apprenticeships that gives justice-impacted young people the opportunity to develop marketable job skills and reconnect with their community through mural making, carpentry, and other creative projects. Curriculum includes job readiness and life skills training, professional development, and mentorship. Participants develop skills in professional communications, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, digital etiquette, résumé-building, and interview preparation.

Supports re-entering citizens upon release from Philadelphia Department of Prisons. Offers paid training in horticulture, landscape maintenance, greenhouse operations, carpentry, and masonry. Training includes job readiness, conflict resolution, health education, and occupational therapy. Also offers social support services. Program graduates receive continued case management support and job placement with partnering employers.

Provides transitional employment with an electronics waste recycling company to people returning from prison. Offers a supportive environment for learning marketable job skills and a network of individuals who work together toward self- and community improvement. After 6 to 9 months, assists participants with preparing applications for jobs in industries for which they are eligible. Works with employers willing to hire job-ready, returning citizens for full-time, gainful employment.

Provides a reentry organization support and meetings to advocate and coordinate services for ex-offenders (barriers to employment for returning citizens, resume and job application assistance).

Meetings are held at CareerLink (100 North Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104).

Providing career services, placement, and reentry services. After enrollment program details, including participant responsibilities, are reviewed as well as any barriers the participant has that need to be addressed such as securing identification (photo ID, driver's license, birth certificate, social security card., etc.). While the participant is still incarcerated (pre-release), job readiness services are provided along with career exploration and discussions of education and occupational skills training opportunities. Post-release we continue to coordinate education, training, and employment activities while also encouraging participants in their continuation with any, court ordered or voluntary, mental health services and/or drug and alcohol treatment. We also continue to provide supportive services such as bus passes, work clothing, etc. From the date of initial enrollment, we are in contact with participants for about two or more years.
