Residents of Philadelphia, Chester, and Bucks Counties can call the Coalition's SNAP Hotline for assistance applying for SNAP Benefits (previously known as food stamps). Hotline counselors will screen callers for eligibility to receive SNAP benefits and connect them with local food resources. If a caller is eligible, a hotline counselor will submit a SNAP application for them over the phone. Case mangers can also track the progress of applications and help resolve problems that cause applications to be delayed or denied.

Provides financial support and intensive case management to new refugees. Services include:

• finding them a safe and secure place to live and furnishing it with donated household goods and furniture
• greeting them at the airport and bringing them to their new home
• making sure they have a hot, home-cooked meal when they first arrive home
• helping them get Social Security cards and access public benefits
• ensuring they receive a thorough medical screening from one of the partner refugee health clinics at PENN Center for Primary Care for adults or Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
• orienting them to the community and providing financial literacy lessons.

Programs are available to schools, businesses, community organization, etc., and can be tailored to fit most health topics. Available programs include cancer prevention, cardiovascular health and screenings, childhood lead poisoning prevention, dental health, falls prevention, tobacco control, nutrition and physical activity, Lyme Disease and osteoporosis.

Provides health education, information and referral services targeted at the Latino community. Offers prevention education on drug/alcohol abuse and tobacco use and provides HIV testing, hepatitis testing and screening for chronic conditions such as diabetes. Individuals requiring other medical services are provided with referrals. Benefits check-up services are available to older adults. Community health worker conducts street outreach and home based health education services.

Offers a free initial consultation by phone or in person-of up to 45 minutes with a local attorney who meets AARP standards of experience and customer service. Assists with simple wills, powers of attorney, and living wills.

Offers hot meals and delivers Meals on Wheels to home-bound seniors. Provides APPRISE counselors who help with Medicare information and resources. Assists with Income Tax, Rent/Property Tax Rebate, LIHEAP, and PACE Assistance forms and applications. Offers health screenings, produce vouchers, referral services, health and nutrition education, social, and physical health, recreational activities, and volunteer opportunities.

A large lending library of audio books in a variety of formats is accessible as well as a variety of assistive devices that aid in the magnification of various types of print.

Provides preschool special education services for children ages 3 until they enter kindergarten. Children are screened and evaluated so that those identified can receive services in the best placement for them, whether it is at home, a caregiver's house, a preschool, or specialized preschool. If it is determined that the child would benefit from a structured preschool classroom, they arrange for placement in one of the contracted classrooms at the Infant Development Program in Clinton County.
