Eligibility:
Open to individuals age 18 and older who are not currently
employed.
Serves those who face barriers to employment such as poverty, low educational attainment, criminal background, past addiction, transitioning from homelessness, etc.

Fee Amounts:
Training provided free of charge.
Intake Procedure:
Open house for prospective training clients every 3rd Wednesday at
10:00am, or contact program office for an intake appointment.
Intake application. Classes start every 4 weeks.
Intake Requirements:
Sober; stable housing; ability to stand for long periods & lift 20
pounds; 6th grade math/reading equivalencies. No sex offenders but
other criminal backgrounds okay. Applicants need to want to
complete program and secure regular employment. People who are
unemployed due to barriers such as poverty, low educational
attainment, criminal background, past addiction, transitioning from
homelessness, etc.

Helpful Tips:
Unpaid training lasts for 3 months(12 weeks). Uniforms, meals and
bus transportation is provided. Clients will graduate with ServSafe
certification, current resume and references, up to 15
transferrable credits to CCAC, and culinary skills for semi-skilled
jobs in industry (prep cook etc.)
