Milton - Vehicle Assistance
Provides previously owned vehicles to approved clients so that they can find and keep steady employment or have transportation to vital medical appointments. If applicants are not currently employed, must have a start date at a new job in order to apply. Will be required to show proof of ability to insure and maintain the car. When awarded a vehicle, individual is responsible to earn a predetermined amount of assistance credits by working in the HandUP Store or Recycling Center. Program availability is dependant on available donated vehicles.

Intake Procedure: Come to the HandUP office and pick up a Vehicles to Work application. The completed form must be returned in person. A staff member will interview you briefly and review the application to make sure it's complete. You will receive an initial approval or denial within 48 hours of completing the application and interview.
