Blair Senior Services Transportation Office - Medical Assistance Transportation Program
Offers transportation and mileage reimbursement, mass transit, and paratransit service for those meeting program guidelines through the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services who do not have transportation available to them.

Eligibility:
  • Applicant must have an eligible MATP Code
  • Must be a permanent or temporary resident of Blair County
  • Must complete and sign eligibility form
  • Must have need for transportation assistance to receive an MA service

Intake Procedure: Application must be completed and signed. Call to schedule a trip and be prepared to provide the following:
  • full name
  • appointment day and time
  • destination arrival time with destination address and name
  • if a mobility device is being used
  • if an escort is coming, and time of pickup
Intake Requirements: Call for information/application. Must call to schedule ride no later than 2:00 pm one business day prior to the appointment. Trips may only be a maximum of one week in advance. Same day service is available depending on service levels.
Geographical Area: Blair County.
Outside of Blair County may be approved with proper documentation.
Helpful Tips: MATP can be used to attend medical appointments or any other service medical assistance pays for. To claim in-county mileage reimbursement, please notify the office in advance and submit correct documentation. Reimbursements are issued within two weeks after submission.
