Media Office - Chester Healthy Start Program
Provides comprehensive supports to expectant families and those with children under the age of two including health education, developmental screenings for infants and toddlers, resources and referrals, care coordination, breastfeeding support, safe sleep education, and resources. Women can enroll pregnant or postpartum and in any pregnancy (first or subsequent).

Eligibility:
  • Pregnant women or women parenting a child under the age of two
    • Women must live in Chester City, Chester Township, Eddystone, Linwood, Marcus Hook, Trainer, Upland, and Woodlyn.
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

    Intake Procedure: Referral may be made by another agency/provider, or client may make self-referral. Intakes are scheduled upon receipt and may be done by phone or in person, on site or in the home.
    Intake Requirements: No documentation required.

    Helpful Tips: Participants are eligible for referral to the Housing Opportunities Program for Equity (HOPE).
