City of Wilkes-Barre Office of Economic & Community Development - Wilkes-Barre City Homeowners Rehabilitation Program
Provides low interest loans and/or grants for home improvements to those Wilkes-Barre City homeowners who qualify. The assistance is determined by total household income. Eligible rehabilitation work will consist of repairs to correct housing code violations and lead based paint reduction activities.

Eligibility: Property must be located in Wilkes-Barre City and owner-occupied. Must consent to Housing code inspection, lead-based paint inspection, Must meet income guidelines. Must have Home Owner's and Flood Insurance. Must agree to a Mortgage being placed against the property.
