Erie - Diabetes Self-Management Workshops
Evidence based and address common issues facing individuals with diabetes. The program is six weeks in length with each class lasting 2.5 hours with a class size of 10-16 people.

The DSMP focuses on educating participants about nutrition, healthy eating, how to prevent swings in blood sugar, skin and foot care, improving communication with healthcare providers, problem solving skills, and medication usage.
