Teaches skills that help those diagnosed with mental illness live and work in their communities as independently as possible. PRS workers meet with participants in or outside the home to develop skills for living, working, learning, and socializing. Individual goals can include but are not limited to: managing a household, cooking nutritiously, obtaining a degree, developing social roles as well as skills for healthy relationships (e.g. parent, sibling, partner, friend, tenant).
