Scranton - Remote Older Adult Monitoring (ROAM)
ROAM is a voluntary program held weekly that offers individuals age 60 or older an opportunity to have their vital signs such as blood presssure, pulse, blood oxygen and weight monitored between visits with their physician at no cost.
Trained telehealth technicians from area colleges and universities use non-invasive, FDA-approved medical devices to obtain and track senior's vital signs. The readings are transmitted to a nurse who will contact the senior at the first sign of an alert.
