Pennsylvania American Legion Housing for Homeless Veterans Corporation owns four town houses on Cypress Street, Moon Township in Allegheny County and provides an environment for veterans while they complete their schooling, job training and become adequately self sufficient to seek permanent housing in the surrounding community.

Each participant is responsible to take part in cleaning of the house, cooking and maintaining the jointly used facilities. Each is also responsible for keeping his/her assigned area clean and doing their own laundry.

The program is designed to enhance the quality of life for the veteran. The goal is to become a productive tax paying citizen by securing a good decent job.

NPIC is a toll-free telephone service available to anyone in the US, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. NPIC is also a cooperative effort between Oregon State University and the US EPA. Pesticide information is also available on the website.
