The Health & Social Services team provides holistic support services for immigrants and refugees. Our offices are based in South Philadelphia. Although we specialize in serving Asian immigrants and refugees, all are welcome. We work with elders, adults, and families on employment support, digital literacy, Digital Navigator helpline, naturalization assistance, public benefits, health insurance, intimate partner violence, ESL, family literacy, health access, information and referral, case management, advocacy, community programs, and collaboration with other health care and social service providers. Our civic engagement initiatives provide nonpartisan voter registration, voter education, get out the vote, and voter protection supports.

St. Agnes Day Room is located behind St. Agnes Church, on New Street. It was founded to serve the basic needs of the poor and the homeless in the West Chester area. The Day Room continues to provide hospitality to the needy, especially the elderly, migrants, women and children, in a caring and welcoming environment. Our goals are to strengthen families and assist individuals toward personal growth and greater independence, establish ongoing, therapeutic relationships that strengthen the community, and nurture in our clients a sense of appreciation and a desire to help others. Our services include: free breakfast and lunch, groceries, clothing, diapers, baby formula, assistance and referrals, bilingual outreach services, parenting workshops, and outreach to those unable to come to the Day Room. Education and awareness are the first steps toward prevention of serious crimes, such as child abuse, sexual violence and sexual harassment. VSC provides educational programs for students, parents and professionals at schools, workplaces, community centers, etc.

- Safety Rangers, a 10 week after school safety education program
