Provides a warm bed and a hot meal on nights that temperatures are 26 degrees or colder. The shelter opens its doors at 8:15 pm, and Guests can enter the shelter between 8:15 and 11pm. Guests must leave the shelter by 7am. Our shelter is open November 15th-April 15th.

Women's Winter Overnight Shelter
As of 03/17/2020, due to COVID-19, the shelter is open through Friday night, 3/20/2020 then close for the Winter season. Also, the HELP office is doing all the intakes over the phone and are not accepting any walk-ins. If someone does show up, HELP will take their phone number to call them and send them away. The only exception would be someone without a phone and those residents should expect to have a long wait. Winter Emergency Shelter for women, transgender women, and individuals who identify as non-binary. Shelter operates from 12/20/2019 to 3/31/2020.

Good Samaritan Shelter - Men Homeless Shelter - Single Men
A 7-bed shelter that welcomes homeless men. Shelter residents are allowed a 60-day residency, offered three meals per day and are provided with toiletries, linens, and towels. Residents are also given benefits information, legal information, and a copy of the house rules and code of conduct. During extreme weather conditions, being either very cold (Code Blue) or very hot, (Code Red) the Shelter offers emergency cots to sleep for the night. Admission to the shelter begins with an intake interview. The shelter staff refers residents to local agencies that can help with various issues such as mental health services, substance abuse counseling or job placement. Other services provided by the shelter include: - Drug/Alcohol Counseling - Information & Referral - Health Care Access referral - Transportation Assistance and bicycles - GED Preparation - Free access to the YMCA - Match Savings Program - Micro-Finance Loan - Job Training Program

Operates when the temperature drops below 25 degrees Fahrenheit and when dangerous winter weather exists. The shelter will allow residents to check in all night. The phone line will be updated by noon each day to report if the shelter will be open that evening.
