Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless
Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless - Homeless Outreach Services
CSSH is an alliance of individuals and organizations assisting unsheltered adults in Central Bucks County. Our first priority is providing shelter on Code Blue nights. While building trust, guests are welcomed, offered a warm meal that is eaten family style, have the opportunity to fellowship and share stories, get a good night’s sleep, and make connections and build relationships that continue beyond that cold winter night. However, CSSH is much more than Code Blue. Year round, our tireless volunteers continue to support the guests we met during the Code Blue season and others who reach out – through community meals and other outreach efforts. This includes helping to secure needed identifications, providing gift cards for emergency meals, purchasing needed clothing for a job interview, financial support to get into housing, and more. We help to make a plan to pursue housing, employment, mentally and physically healthier lifestyles, and generally fuller lives defined by safety and dignity.
