    Our cold weather shelter here at Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church is a community outreach service for those who are in a season of need. We are fortunate enough to have the space to provide a warm place to sleep from November 1st through March 31st. The shelter is open from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am seven nights a week for five consecutive months. If you know of anyone that may need a place to sleep, please call us at 570-821-0126.     Keystone Mission provides shelter for those who are homeless and would be exposed to extreme conditions throughout the winter months. Code Blue Shelter will open the doors to the community of Scranton WHEN THE TEMPERATURE IS PROJECTED TO BE 20 DEGREES OR BELOW and/or a forecast of 12 inches or more of snow. On a day the shelter is open, community members will be able to enter at 9 pm and the shelter will remain open until 6 am the next morning. Bible studies are made available to guests several times during the week in groups or on an individual basis if requested. This service to the community is entirely faith-based and receives all its funding and support from local churches and parishioners.
