The family's preliminary eligibility is determined upon receipt of the completed application and after a criminal history and a prior subsidized housing check have been done. A family or individual who has been issued a housing voucher is responsible for finding a suitable housing unit of the familyâ??s choice where the owner agrees to rent under the voucher program. A housing subsidy is paid to the landlord directly by the Lycoming Housing Authority on the behalf of the participating family.
