Offers an interactive one-hour presentation given by a Registered Nurse and a Clinical Social Worker. Covers all aspects of ALS, including definition, signs and symptoms, etiology, treatment/symptom management, psychosocial factors, and hospice considerations. Introduces the services and resources available to patients through the ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter.
