Helpful Tips: Our outreach begins with diagnosis. We encourage new patients to register with the chapter to become eligible for our many services. Several times a year, we offer Newly Diagnosed Seminars to help patients and their families gain a fuller understanding of the disease. Patients and their families are encouraged to attend our many recreational and educational outings throughout the year. We also offer resource groups throughout our service region to provide a forum for patients to exchange experiences and ideas. In addition, we coordinate resource groups specifically for caregivers and bereavement support.
