Homeowners facing forclosure who have received an ACT 91 notice may be eligible to apply for a loan through PHFA to help save their home. This is not a grant but a loan that is recorded as a mortgage lien against the property. Housing counselors will help with the application process and submitting the application. PHFA makes the final decision for eligibility.
