The program consists of 20 three-hour group sessions plus individual care, some of which includes families. Graduates qualify for the Continuing Care component. Continuing Care: Graduates of Greenbriar programs and their families are encouraged to attend this programming which consists of twelve months of weekly group therapy, led by an experienced counselor from our staff. Therapy discussion centers around goals that each graduate established during treatment. Continuing Care is a bridge between treatment and recovery in a 12 step program. There is no charge for this service. Family Program: Families of patients are encouraged to participate in the family programs consisting of weekly group education and counseling.     Treatment Trends - Halfway Home of the Lehigh Valley
    A community-based residential treatment and rehabilitation facility that provides services for chemically dependent persons in a supportive, chemical-free environment. While this setting does provide substance abuse treatment, it also emphaizes protective and supportive elements of family living. Mutual self-help assistance in economic/social adjustment and integration of life skills into daily life, as well as a solid program of recovery are encouraged. Clints entering this environment must have already had some experience in another typed of drug and alcohol treatment. A Halfway House is a linve in/work out environment, with a typical length of stay being 3 to 6 months. Holds a total of 40 residents.
