Community Residential 24/7
Provides intensive, short-term residential (mental health and substance abuse). This program is often used as an alternative to or step down from a hospital-based inpatient unit. For some residents, the program offers a respite from stressful life circumstances and most participate in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in order to receive intensive treatment to learn how to better understand, cope with, and manage their illness and find more success in their recovery journey after discharge. In addition to their treatment activities, DAS program staff support residents with their daily living activities and medication and other health needs, while also coordinating social and recreational activities. DAS staff also work closely with the PHP staff and other staff, invested family, and community supports to help ensure smooth and effective discharge planning.
