Provides services in the homes of eligible adults who require assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, meal prep or supplemental housekeeping. Persons receiving this service may have a difficult time completing these activities on their own. With this service, older adult can remain independent at home. Services may include: Personal Care, Caregiver Support, Emergency Response System, Care Management, Home Delivered Meals, Protective Services, and Nursing Home Transitional Care.

Provides wide range of services designed to work with clients to thrive in the home environment best suited to their needs. Assessment of need is done through our office and we work with volunteers and subcontractors to deliver appropriate service. Some of the services are:

Home Delivered Meals A meal is provided to functionally disabled, home-bound or convalescent people age 60+.

• Personal Care Service Provides personal grooming help - bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and transferring.

• Chore Service Minor home repair may be possible when safety and necessary upkeep is required.
  
• Lifeline Alert Services Personal response system to help people live independently. 24 hour monitoring.

Partners with 35 different houses of worship that offer either sit-down community meals or "to go" meals. AHTN volunteer drivers will either pick up our homeless friends and bring them to the sit-down community meal or deliver "to go" meals to our homeless friends at various bus stops, depending on the house of worship preparing the meal. Delivers meals to the various bus stops that are AHTN's usual pick up spots in Lower Bucks.

Program is for clients ages 18 to 59 years who are disabled and home bound and are in need of food. If they meet the program guidelines, then they would be eligible for 5 free meals each week.

Nutritious meals are served in a group setting at least once a day, five days a week, depending on the facility - usually senior centers. For those older persons who are unable to prepare meals and have no other means of obtaining a hot, nutritious meal, home delivered meals can be provided for eligible seniors.

Meals on Wheels provides frequent, in-home visits that fulfill opportunities to meet nutritional needs, combat social isolation, address safety hazards, and provide a nurturing companionship between older adults and volunteers.

Our meals are prepared by a catering service under the supervision of a registered dietitian. All meals are reduced in salt, fat, and sugar. Specialty medical diets are also available. Some allergies can be accommodated.

A nutritional program providing a mid-day meal, Monday through Friday to clients who are homebound and unable to independently prepare a meal. Volunteers provide meal delivery. In areas where volunteer assistance is limited, frozen meals are delivered.

This program, in cooperation with Meals on Wheels Office of Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania, delivers kosher meals to those in need.
Kosher Meals on Wheels are available to those people in our community who adhere to Kosher dietary requirements.
Kosher Meals on Wheels provides adequate, well-balanced, home delivered meals to homebound people who are unable to shop for and unable to prepare meals for themselves.
The meals are prepared at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania under Kosher dietary guidelines. Meals may be meat or dairy and are based on a four-week menu cycle. Recipients may request 1 or 2 daily meals.

Kosher Meals on Wheels is able to accommodate most special diets, such as diabetic, low salt, low fat, chopped, etc.

The meals are fully cooked but are cold when delivered each day. The recipient can re-heat the meal in the oven or toaster oven after the lid is removed. The meal can also be transferred from the foil container to a microwave-safe plate for microwave heating.
Volunteers who deliver the meals are interviewed and screened by Jewish Family Service. These volunteers not only bring a nutritious meal to your home, but also provide a friendly greeting and an important safety check for each individual who receives a meal.

Delivers kosher, nutritious meals.

Provides a monthly distribution of shelf-stable kosher food directly to recipient homes. Families with children under age 16 will also receive kid-friendly snacks. Upon special request and availability, donated household items, toiletries, and kid's apparel may also be included.

Provides food to residents of the Hill District and Polish Hill (15219 or 15213 zip code). Twice a month a variety of groceries to supplement the family diet in a balanced way.
Walk-ins come twice a month. On alternate weeks, groceries are delivered to the housebound or shut-ins.
