Our Family Involvement Program is facilitated by one of our Masters level Allied Therapists and is open to all family members as well as the community. These are informational meetings where people can learn how to deal with the impact of mental illness. Education is provided about diagnoses, treatment options, and aftercare as well as support those who are being impacted by their loved ones illness. This program also serves as a liaison between families and treatment teams. The Family Involvement Program is geared toward families, friends and caregivers of adult patients. We offer a weekly evening program which is held on Thursdays (5:30p-6:30p).

Intensely structured multifamily groups which parents and children attend together with breakout sessions for discussions and activities. The goal for the FOCUS group is to provide disease and medication specific knowledge; facilitate effective parent child/teen interaction styles; provide resources, services and support systems in the community; and emphasize the importance of finding time for self, parents and partners. Parents are encouraged to support one another and to take a more active role in their child's mental health care. Family Pathways Family Based Mental Health Services
Family Based Services are designed to assist families in addressing issues within the family home situation that may be causing major problems and could be cause for a child to be placed outside the home. The family will be assigned two family therapists who will meet with you in your home. These therapists have flexible work schedules which enables them to schedule therapy times that are convenient for you and your family. We strive to complete services within 6-8 months, although the time may be briefer or longer based on the needs to your family. The average number of sessions is typically one to three times per week, or more often if you require additional services. Some of the services include:

Consumers learn to adapt to and manage their illness, regain control of their lives, and improve the overall quality of their personal and social relationships. An alliance, consisting of the individual, any family that the consumer wishes, and the Single Clinical Home team, is established to augment this process.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is a team-based approach focused on hard-to-reach individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. FHR PA is the only mental health provider in Chester County offering ACT.

The Residential Treatment Program serves girls 12 to 18 years old with serious mental health and behavioral health treatment needs, often stemming from trauma. Core components of this JCAHO accredited, Sanctuary certified Residential Treatment Facility at our Rosemont Campus include:
•Clinical Treatment Services with master's level therapists who provide weekly individual, family and group therapy as well as comprehensive case management
