The ADOS is the gold standard in autism diagnosis and is a standardized assessment of communication, social interaction and play. The Level of Care Assessment (LCA) is a service offered to individuals who already have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder from a reputable, qualified provider. The LCA is used to accurately recommend the appropriate level of services and/or type of care that may be needed for an individual. During the appointment we collect a basic history and conduct an interview or interactive play session. Subsequently, the Center will make a recommendation for the next appropriate service.

Early Intervention Services
Early identification and age-appropriate therapies are critical to the well-being of children with disabilities. Via Early Intervention services, offered to children from birth to age three, can enhance a child's development and provide support and assistance to families. Therapists work with infants and toddlers in their homes and daycare facilities to address delays and include caregivers in the teaching process so therapy can continue at home. Early identification and age-appropriate therapies are critical to the well-being of children with disabilities. Via Early Intervention, offered to children from birth to age three, can enhance a child's development and provide support and assistance to families. At the most critical time in a child's life, Via Early Intervention specialists identify and address developmental delays and disabilities. Therapists work with infants and toddlers in their homes and daycare facilities to identify and address delays and include caregivers in the teaching process so therapy can continue in all aspects of the child's environment. Via Early Intervention supports more than 250 children and families in Lehigh and Northampton Counties. Infants and toddlers are eligible to receive early intervention services when they have been identified as having a developmental delay or disability in:
-Physical development (including vision and hearing)
-Cognitive development
-Communication development
-Sensory development
-social-emotional development
-Adaptive development

Early Intervention Service Coordination
Provides Service Coordination to families of eligible children with developmental delays/disabilities to assist in enhancing the learning and development of their child with special needs. Helps families coordinate the specific services that best meet the child and family needs. Services and supports take place within a child's natural environment and build upon the natural learning that occurs during the child's first few years. The EI SC works on a team with the parents and other service providers to develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) that will identify the services and supports needed to reach the outcomes determined by the family for their child.
