Bucks County Transportation Services provides transportation for older persons in getting to and from senior centers, medical facilities, banking institutions, libraries and stores for shopping. Subsidized applications are available at Area Agency on Aging.

Bucks County Transport provides services to all residents of Bucks County with a discount for Senior Citizens (ages 65+). Once you register with us, just give us at least 2 week-days notice and we'll schedule your transportation. Note that because this is a "shared" ride program, trips are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. PLEASE NOTE: Bucks County Transport will try to accommodate your needs, but we are unable to guarantee a specific vehicle type unless a lift vehicle is required.

Capital Area Transit's (CAT) Paratransit Division provides Share-A-Ride Transportation service to County residents age 65 or older who cannot use the fixed route bus system or who reside in areas not served by community based transportation programs.

Fixed route service, known as 'The LYNX' operates throughout Carbon County and to some points outside the County, such as the Mall area in Whitehall.

Maintains independent living for older county residents. Many services available such as home delivered meals, transportation, emergency/legal assistance, SHARE Housing, senior volunteer program, and case coordination.

Provides supportive services and outreach to meet the needs of the elderly and adults with disabilities. Services include transportation to medical appointments, errands and shopping assistance, supportive visiting and telephone reassurance, light housekeeping and meal preparation, minor household maintenance, caregiver relief, and reading or helping to write out checks to pay bills.

Provides transportation for seniors and those with disabilities to medical and other wellness appointments throughout the Wyoming Valley. Wheelchair-accessible vans provide point-to-point transportation.

Senior Center services: transportation, congregate meal care management, home delivered meals, volunteer opportunities, and medical transportation. Adult Day Care and Ombudsman point of contact.

Aging Services of Washington County provides community based services to older individuals living in Washington County. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality cost-effective services in the least restrictive way, at the direction of our consumers.Funded in part by the SWPA Area Agency on Aging, Inc. through the Pennsylvania Department of Aging and the Washington County Board of Commissioners.

Offers additional discounted fares for older adults through Westmoreland Transit's Shared Ride Program.

Provides door to door transportation for Westmoreland County residents age 65 or older. Trips using this service can be for any destination, including medical apponitments, shopping, places of worship, etc.
