Customer Assistance Program (CAP)
The CAP (Customer Assistance Program) offers personalized monthly payment amounts based on gross income, household size, and energy usage at the property. CAP Program does not help with shut off notices. CAP Program arranges a reduced payment plan for UGI-Penn Natural Gas customers who are eligible and have an active UGI-PNG account. Customers must have a verifiable source of income on which the CAP payment is based. Part of the customer agreement with UGI-PNG is that the customer apply for LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program). SLHDA, Inc. is able to assist UGI-PNG customers with the completion of their LIHEAP application and forward the application to the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare for processing.

    Operation Help: For individuals with special hardships in paying their energy bills. Funds are provided by PPL which requires the family be a PPL customer and have an income under the 200% of the poverty guideline.
