    Assists persons receiving buprenorphine to access recovery through a multi-faceted approach, including referrals to appropriate outpatient treatment providers and other essential services. Coordinates services for individuals by: - referral and access to appropriate counseling. - assessment to determine emergent and ancillary needs. - development of Recovery Plans that address areas of need - such as: housing, employment, health care, etc. - providing on going monitoring of individuals' successes and/or challenges while enrolled in the Program. - developing specific peer support groups for those individuals receiving buprenorphine treatment - educating physicians and psychiatrists on buprenorphine and the need for this pathway to recovery and the importance of recovery as a lifelong process - increasing the number of outpatient providers willing to treat individuals who have been prescribed buprenorphine.

Clints entering this environment must have already had some experience in another typed of drug and alcohol treatment.     Offers a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for those suffering from substance use disorders. Team consists of two psychiatrists, a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, a Psychiatric Nurse Case Manager, a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Medical Assistant and several therapists who are Certified Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CAADC). The program is a combination of both FDA-approved medications and counseling. Three types of MAT are offered: Vivitrol: a monthly opioid blocker for patients free of opioids for at least five days. We can provide an outpatient detox protocol if needed. Sublocade: Monthly Buprenorphine injection. Patients need at least seven days on oral Buprenorphine which is provided. Probuphine: Six-month Buprenorphine implant for patients stabilized on 8mg or less of oral Buprenorphine. Please note, our practice does not prescribe maintenance oral Buprenorphine.
