    • Chore Service Minor home repair may be possible when safety and necessary upkeep is required.
    • Lifeline Alert Services Personal response system to help people live independently. 24 hour monitoring.

Support Services include: - Personal visits, when possible, by former patients to those currently in hospitals and rehabilitation centers. - Supplies literature and educational material, including a comprehensive 70-page booklet entitled "An Overview for the Layperson" so patients and families can learn what to expect during the illness, as well as Guidebooks for Caregivers, and for children with GBS.     The Safe and Healthy Homes Program provides services in Philadelphia and Delaware counties. This program works in partnership with several agencies in the region and strives to reduce illness and injury caused by home health and safety hazards such as fire and fall hazards, asthma triggers, and lead. Services include: A comprehensive home assessment by a trained Healthy Homes Specialist In-depth Healthy Homes education Healthy Homes supplies (e.g., household cleaning goods) Information on clinical, social, educational, housing, and safety resources Appropriate referrals to community agencies A summary of findings and recommendations following each visit Households with an asthmatic resident will receive supplies to aid in asthma trigger reduction, such as mattress and pillow covers.
