Please note that patrons cannot ride under the PwD Program if they are currently sponsored by other existing programs, such as SEPTA Customized Community Transportation or local human service agencies.

Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) is a transportation service available to people receiving Medical Assistance and is paid for by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Public Welfare (DPW).
If you have a car available, or if you know someone who has a car and can take you to your medical appointment, they will provide your mileage reimbursement if it is the least costly, most appropriate service available. You must tell them in advance and they will send you a form to fill out.

COLTS provides origin to destination service for people. If necessary, COLTS drivers can help you to the door. All COLTS vans are equipped with a lift to assist in accessing the vehicle if the lift and vehicle and physically accommodate the customer. The vans also have safety straps for mobility devices.

If you are a Medical Assistance recipient, you may be eligible to get help with transportation to and from medical appointments and care. Transportation is provided by the County of Lackawanna Transportation System (COLTS).
The Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) is a transportation service available to Medical Assistance consumers in Lackawanna County. MATP is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
MATP can help you get to medical care or services from a Medical Assistance Provider by providing transportation or mileage reimbursement.

Fixed route service, known as 'The LYNX' operates throughout Carbon County and to some points outside the County, such as the Mall area in Whitehall.

Door-to-door shared-ride service is available to people with disabilities and older adults who have difficulty accessing the regular transit system. Prospective passengers apply for shared-ride services by completing an application and must call in advance to schedule trips. Applications are available online or at the office. Some riders may qualify for subsidized or free services.

A shared-ride service that provides door-to-door transportation for people with disabilities and older adults who have difficulty accessing the regular LANta transit system. Prospective passengers must apply for LANtaVan services by completing an application and must call in advance to schedule trips.

Through the Shared-Ride Program for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), clients who are between the ages of 18 and 65 and have a documented disability are able to ride the ACTS buses for a reduced fare. This service offers clients door to door service for their transportation needs.

STEP is availabe in the general service area of the Luzerne County Transportation Authority. The program permits approved persons with disabilities to ride on vans operated by LCTA Shared Ride. Out of county trips to Lackawanna County only.

ADA Services provides transportation for disabled persons who are unable to use RRTA buses. Service is available in Lancaster City and County. There is an application procedure to determine eligibility. Applications are available at the RRTA office and several other social service agencies such as CAP, EARS, Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing Services, BH/DS, Blind Association, Lancaster Guidance Center, IU13, Occupational Development Center, UDS

Will provide door-to-door assistance (helping the persons from their front door to the van) for anyone who requests assistance. All requests for service must be made at least one day in advance

Persons with disabilities service for residents in rural parts of Lancaster County. Requires certification that mental or physical disability substantially limits one or more major life activities. Cost is 15% of the full fare depending on service requested

Provides non-medical assistance with activities of daily living to allow individuals to continue living independently in their own homes. Services include transportation to appointments, family or friends visits, and errands; ood shopping and meal preparation; light housekeeping such as laundry, changing bed linens, and tidying the house; personal care to help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal needs; and conversation and camaraderie.

Bus transportation for residents of Schuylkill County. Shared ride program for Senior Citizens who are over sixty five years of age. Also Rural Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Program.

Supports, promotes and encourages self-sufficiency in individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease.

Offers a variety of Specialized Support Services including a door through door transportation, mail reading, bill paying, grocery shopping and support group opportunities, etc.

Provides door-to-door transportation service to individuals who are functionally unable to use SEPTA's main services. Rides are scheduled by an automated reservation and scheduling program that searches for available times.

Services operate Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except on STEP-observed holidays and are available to anyone living in or visiting Lycoming and Clinton counties. Transportation is available to travel anywhere within the service area consisting of the following counties: Lycoming, Clinton, Centre, Union, Northumberland, Columbia, Snyder, and Montour. Transportation fares per one-way trip are based on ride sponsorships and a zone-based, miles-driven fare structure. Refer to the fares and sponsorship information for more information. Consumers must reserve their ride before noon of the preceding business day. Some consumers may be eligible for enrollment in transportation sponsoring programs, which make fares reasonable.
