Assists low-income homeowners in the 83 municipalities that ALCOSAN serves.

The program provides a $42 credit applied every three months to the account of an eligible customer.

The credit is applied automatically every three months, whether the customer is billed monthly, bimonthly or quarterly.

Credits are applied to a customer’s account by the agencies that bill for sewage treatment services – for example, these bills may come from Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority, Jordan Tax Service, Wilkinsburg-Penn Joint Water Authority, a municipality, etc.

The Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program provides information on benefits and entitlements, services referrals and proactive outreach programs that are available to the Service and Family member during all phases of the deployment cycle. The Branch also consists of the Employment Outreach section which assists members of the Pennsylvania National Guard and their immediate Family by providing tools necessary to gain meaningful employment.

Provides a one time only assistance focusing on the following needs: energy assistance, housing and medical assistance. People needing help may call or submit a written application to the organization. All requests are evaluated in confidentiality. The organization also attempts to put applicants in contact with additional organizations that can assist them.
